Project Overview
Finished in 2023, our car roof LED digital signage project was officially put into daily operation in Romania’s core urban areas, cooperating with local well-known advertising enterprise Mediacar and widely equipped on mainstream Bolt ride-hailing vehicles.
This cooperation helps Mediacar develop a brand-new mobile outdoor advertising service: leasing taxi rooftop display space for local merchants to release rolling digital promotions, realizing continuous brand exposure as vehicles travel across the whole city.
Customer Requirements
Mediacar was looking for a vehicle-mounted LED display solution that could:
Operate reliably in outdoor environments year-round

Because the displays would be installed on ride-hailing vehicles used daily, durability and ease of maintenance were important considerations.
HSC LED Solution
Based on the project requirements, HSC LED supplied customized taxi roof LED displays equipped with a remote content management system.
High-Brightness Outdoor Display
The LED screens were designed for outdoor advertising applications, providing clear visibility under direct sunlight and maintaining strong visual impact throughout the day.
Non-Destructive Installation
The displays were equipped with vehicle-specific mounting brackets that allowed installation without drilling or modifying the vehicle roof. This reduced installation time and helped protect the vehicles from potential damage.
Remote Content Management
Each display integrated a 4G communication module, allowing operators to update, schedule, and manage advertising content remotely through a centralized management platform.
Weather-Resistant Design
With an IP65-rated enclosure and outdoor-grade electronic components, the displays were designed to withstand Romania's changing weather conditions and support long-term operation.
